Your Role Within the Company:
Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager, you will have a major impact on the design, development, testing, and installation of manufacturing equipment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with maintenance, engineering, quality assurance, safety manager, and production personnel with the overall objective of improving process capabilities, efficiencies, quality, and safety while at the same time utilizing good manufacturing practices. If robotics and automation get you excited, this is your opportunity! Duties include the following:
Assist or lead in the design and development of new equipment and/or processes utilizing Robotics, PLC’s, or other automated device whenever possible, practical, and cost effective.
Assist or lead in the evaluation, installation, programming, and troubleshooting of all automated systems throughout the facility.
Assist or lead with the development and documentation of work instructions and preventative maintenance procedures for all automated equipment throughout the facility.
This position requires the ability to accurately read detailed blueprints, schematics, operation/technical manuals and work orders.
Perform all duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.

Proficient knowledge of robotic programming, PLC’s, VFD’s, electrical/electronic circuitry, welding, production mechanics and fabrication.
Three years of work experience in one or more of these areas would be required.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and Ladder Logics would be helpful but not required.
Completion of a two-year formal program (Associates Degree) in Welding; Electronics, or Electromechanical Technology is preferred for this position, but not required.
