As the Journeyman Electrician, you will perform all electrical wiring for both equipment installations or buildings requirements and to perform all necessary electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, testing, problem identification, and repair of existing production/maintenance equipment. Duties include the following:
Plan, layout, install, repair, and test wiring, electrical fixtures, fuse boxes, and control equipment
Run a forklift, boom lift, or scissor lift and secure appropriate licenses if required.
Must be able to gather and analyze statistical data.
Read and interpret blueprints; electrical schematics; technical and service bulletins; product specifications; and other standard operating procedures.
Use and understand various specialized diagnostic/measuring tools and equipment unique to the job.
Work with limited supervision and show/demonstrate initiative, tact, good judgement, and sound reasoning.

Requires a thorough knowledge and understand of electrical theory; electrical safety and the appropriate electrical codes (NEC).
An Associate’s degree in electrical technology and/or state licensing required.
Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the position.
Must have neat and legible handwriting.
