Your Role Within the Company:
Your role as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be to manage planning, scheduling, and execution of manufacturing engineering. Manages the planning and design of the manufacturing processes, maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of the equipment, workflow layouts, assembly layouts, work force utilization, and effective programming of machines.

Effectively manage the personnel of the manufacturing engineering team and Support Technicians
Lead and assist in the development and implementation of the production system, which includes efficiency improvement, throughput, material presentation, Kanban process, takt time, labor resource calculations and line design
Analyze, propose, and aggressively pursue implementation of process improvements to improve manufacturing safety, quality, material utilization, efficiency, and throughput
Manage projects to maintain or improve manufacturing tooling, fixtures, equipment, and facilities
Assist in the development and implementation of quality management strategies and plans
Responsible for identifying, recommending and purchasing key capital investments pertaining to facilities, equipment, and tooling
Plan and lead the execution of various cost reduction and Lean activities
Other duties assigned by management

Background Profile:
Must possess a 4 year engineering degree and/or ten years’ experience in manufacturing engineering
Must have an understanding or product development, project management/development and justification
Must have experience with resource calculations, flow manufacturing, line design and process improvement
Must have or be able to gain and understanding of entire production cycle
Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in a professional manner
Must have working knowledge of computer systems, robotic and programming software
Must be able to take a variety of projects and minimal supervision, ability to plan, purchase, and implement in a timely manner
