The Maintenance Manager directs the repair and maintenance of existing facilities and equipment. The manager also directs activities in new equipment installations as well as building and grounds modification projects.

The Facilities Maintenance Manager’s duties include, but are not limited to:
• Directing the maintenance and repair of plant equipment, machines, buildings and grounds, managing the work order system and maintaining all necessary maintenance records
• Contracting with outside vendors for necessary contracted work
• Developing and controlling the budget for all maintenance areas
• Forecasting the maintenance plan annually
• Maintaining a preventive maintenance program for all equipment, buildings and grounds, maintaining all records, and making recommendations to positively affect equipment performance and uptime
• Managing the maintenance workforce, monitoring and reviewing work levels and performance
• Adhering to all regulatory requirements at the plant, including OSHA and EPA regulations
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement through 5S and Kaizan projects

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will possess:
• Excellent organization, project management and communication skills to perform duties proficiently
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution is preferred
• Minimum 5 years supervisory/managerial experience is required
• Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance or plant/manufacturing engineering is required
• Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship
