Human Resources Generalist

We are looking for an Bi-Lingual HR Generalist to join our team!
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multi-state agricultural business in Central Nebraska! The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, has a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie, and has previous office management experience.
As an Bi-Lingual HR Generalist, you will:
-Be responsible for all general office management such as; organization of files, correspondence, IT resolution for field staff, inventory, social media and employee recognition.
-Provide payroll processing for location. You will process direct deposit requests, time-off requests and benefit changes, as well as support locations prior to payroll processing.
-Be responsible for all recruiting activities; including candidate tracking, advertising, screening, interviewing, selection and hiring.
-Assist with employee relation issues and work with department supervisors and senior staff concerning disciplinary action.
-Oversee Worker’s Compensation caseload. Works closely with the Environmental Health and Safety Manager on WC and safety related issues.
-Develop and act as lead trainer for effective training programs; including new hire training, supervisory training, and new employee orientation.
-Assist Department Heads with performance appraisal process, and evaluate merit increases and/or performance improvement plans.
Who we are looking for:
-You have extensive knowledge of office administration, and have the ability to multi-task in a variety of functions.
-You have progressive experience in a Human Resources capacity. This position will oversee office functions and act as HR Generalist for the region.
-You are proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and a general aptitude in HRIS data and Payroll programs.
-You have knowledge of the Agriculture industry.
-You have AA or BS/BA in Human Resources, Business or related AND at least three years of office management experience. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish/English (verbal and written).
