Our client is now hiring a Supply Planner!

Position Summary:
The Planner is responsible for the effective scheduling and inventory control of their assigned product group. This includes the Master Production Scheduling of a manufacturing site, or purchased requirements from an OEM supplier / vendor. The Planner works with the manufacturing planners/operations to ensure level loading the capacity of the resources in the plants. They are responsible for achieving and maintaining the safety stock level for each product at each required Distribution Center. They either lead or participate in the monthly Supply Planning meetings with the plants to assure product needs are met. They are to focus on process improvements and planning system expertise, to facilitate excellent customer service and asset management. They are responsible for ensuring balanced supply, and accountable for determining and achieving metrics targets for backorder, line fill and inventory.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Logistics; MBA Preferred
3+ years related work experience in Operations / Supply Chain functions ideally with a Multi-national organization actively using Sales & Operations Planning process
Experience with SAP / APO / SCM or similar ERP systems
APICS designation or in progress
Ability to work effectively with demand planning, finance, sales, operations, customer service, distribution, transportation, 3PL, capacity planning, etc.
Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications

He/she will have solid analytical capabilities, strong drive for results, clear customer focus, mature interpersonal skills, a global mindset and solid business acumen.
