Summary
The primary responsibility of an Account Executive is to sell new and existing services and products to an assigned list of accounts. This business to business (B2B) sales professional will be responsible for developing relationships throughout his/her territory, and grow new business opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Build trusted relationships with decision makers, customers & partners
• Manage an existing base of business with focus on renewals and retention
• Provide customer service excellence with outstanding communication and follow up
• Prospect for upgrades and additional services and make recommendations accordingly
• Prospect (including cold calling, networking etc.) to generate new leads and opportunities
• Participate in product training and region / market meetings as required
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met
• Plan and manage activities to ensure goal accomplishment
• Maintain current and accurate contact, opportunity and account information with the applicable tools provided

Qualifications
• 2+ years business-to-business (B2B) sales experience in a high activity sales position
• Significant prospecting through cold calling and networking
• Must have a successful sales track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quotas
• Experienced at establishing and maintaining relationships at all levels of a customer’s organization
• Consultative selling process is required; strong presentation skills
• Time Management skills and contact management skills are required; capable to schedule and keep appointments
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), web browser, and customer relationship management (CRM) required
• Must have the ability to build and accurately forecast a sales pipeline
• Verbal and written communications skills required.

Preferred Experience
• Knowledge of voice and data technologies, applications, and how customers use and purchase these technologies including but not limited to High Speed Internet, Dedicated Internet, Data Services, Local and Long Distance, IP, hosted solutions & Customer Premise Equipment (CPE)
• Experienced at selling all communication services & solutions throughout an organization preferred
