Our client is a progressive and growing John Deere, multi-location, dealership with locations in Central and North Central Nebraska. This position will be located in Norfolk.

Your Role Within the Company:
The primary responsibility of this position will be to perform diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer owned agricultural equipment, construction equipment, and/or outdoor power equipment.
Diagnoses and repairs customer equipment.
Uses Service Advisor to diagnose, order parts, and repair customer machines.
Participates in all job related training and development.
Ensures proper and accurate time keeping.
Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
Maintains condition of work space, inventory, tools, and equipment.

2-5 years’ experience with proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of agricultural, construction, and outdoor power equipment.
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; automation (ie: GPS) preferred.
Must be a self-starter and be able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and excellent customer service are required.
Must be able to work longer hours during planting and harvest and rotate weekends with the other technicians.
Diploma or GED required; Tech school certification or degree preferred.
Ability to drive a company vehicle is a must.
