The Training Manager will be responsible for global product training affecting employees, customers, and prospects. Manages, directs and conducts training and develops presentations for customers and prospects in conjunction with facility visits. Will also conduct field training for customers and prospects. Writes training tips and articles for company publications. Directs other training activities (videos, DVDs, podcasts, etc.) as necessary.
Manages and leads standardized training on a global basis. Conducts similar training for field customers and prospects.
Coordinates and conducts product presentations for customer/plant tours.
Assists with the price adjustments, as necessary.
In house expert with regard to training techniques and developments; develops new training platforms as required.
Manages remote training processes relative to the communication of product-related information to the field (on-line, webcasts, etc.).
Contributes to Product Management projects as required such as pricing of kits, field research, and other projects.
Assists with various plant tours, trade schools customer visits, etc.
Assists with the development of technical data for company literature and advertising.
Is a contact for trade magazine interviews/articles on product or maintenance practices.
Attends various functions pertaining to Marketing/Sales of Baldwin products (i.e. cost reduction, major product change updates, etc.).
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Technical Field
5 years of experience in Technical Sales or Training environment
Demonstrated presentations skills
