We have a great opportunity for a Help Desk | Assistant Systems Administratorto join our team and work in a professional enterprise environment performing mid-level system administration and desktop support duties. Responsible for identifying, researching, and resolving systems and technical issues, maintains servers, multi-site network, email and security. Provide day-to-day operational support of multi-site computer networks, including hardware/software support, training and special projects. Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating systems and application software being used to provide excellent user support. This position responds to and resolves technical support inquiries/issues. The ability to communicate technical information and issues in a manner which ensures user understanding is required.

Post-secondary (Bachelor’s or Associate’s) Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or combination of education and job-related experience.
Server Administration (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server).
Administration, implementation, and support experience in: TCP/IP and related protocols,, wireless, anti-virus, and cisco firewall/routers.
Experience administering Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager.
Ability to document and evaluate current site network configuration and user requirements.
Working knowledge of various vendor switches, printers, copiers, fax machines, laptops, desktops.
Strong understanding of Windows processes and tasks with the ability to identify, isolate and remove adware, spyware and viruses.
Understanding of basic network components and concepts.
Occasional overnight travel.
4+ years’ experience performing Network Administration and Desktop Support skills preferred.
Network Administration; Optimize Network Topology, MPLS, WAN, LAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN and Wireless.
Experience creating reports with SQL Server Reporting Services and T-SQL
Current Certifications in related skills: Microsoft certifications (MCDST, MCSA, MCSE, MCP, MOUS);
Cisco Certifications; or other recognized Network or PC hardware and software certifications.
