Established accounting firm is currently evaluating highly qualified and talented Audit Managers.

Primary responsibilities include:
-Review of complex research, testing, and evaluations performed by the department
-Provide advanced technical assistance, audit planning and research on complex issues
-Assist in the development and training of staff
-Develop new business for the firm
-Work closely with the shareholders in providing innovative attest planning strategies
-Serve as a backup for Audit Department Lead
-Prepare standard accounting working papers and statements for assigned service area
-Identify technical issues and problems
-Access, interpret, and communicate industry information
-Utilize audit and billing software
-Delegate and manage audit research projects
-Actively participate in client meetings and audit planning sessions

The Audit Manager Accountant role may require travel or alternate work schedule based on client needs. Excellent benefits package and 401K match.

Position requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar field with a Major in Accounting
-5 years experience in public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in research, testing and examination
-1 year experience supervising and directing work
-CPA designation
-Familiarity with professional ethics of the AICPA and the State Board and applicable specialty organizations
