We are looking for an EHS Manager to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, team driven EHS Manager within a premier employer in Eastern Nebraska. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, has a background in the manufacturing environment and has experience developing a zero-incident culture.
As the EHS Manager, you will:
Develop, implement, influence and manager all necessary strategies to create a zero-incident culture and thus meet the established safety and environmental regulations and internal metrics for company.
Advise top management directly on EHS risks/impacts and on compliance with legal requirements and capital/operational expenses to support EHS.
Maximize the success of capital investment projects and new processes by proactively integrating EHS issues during all stages of design, construction, commissioning and validation.
Assist Environmental Director in development and implementation of necessary written programs to support compliance with regulations.
Manage, coordinate and direct emergency response systems including crisis management and business continuity support.
Who we are looking for:
You have a creative, out of the box thought process.
You have excellent people skills and can communicate with and inspire a team.
You have worked with EHS standards and regulations and have the ability to create excitement for implementation of such programs.
You have a B.S. from four-year college or university; and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
