Your Role Within the Company:
As an Engineering Manager, you will coordinate and assign various projects to be performed by the Engineering team. You will be responsible for establishing design standards, specifications, and criteria for commercial and industrial heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment projects.
This management role requires a highly skilled Engineer with in-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including all applicable building codes and industry standards. In addition to strong engineering skills, you will need a high degree of interpersonal and relationship building skills to be successful in this position.
Supervise, train and mentor engineering staff, allocate resources and direct activities to ensure timely completion of all new projects, engineering change orders and customer requested modifications.
Prepare, develop and design according to specifications and requirements.
Manage project status reports with accountability for engineering deliverables.

BSME or BSEE preferred along with 7-10 years’ of experience working in HVAC, Variable Speed or Power Electronics industry with specific expertise in CSA and UL standards and codes
Understanding of electrical schematics and concepts, low voltage, single and three phase power generations, wiring harnesses and systems, automation systems, panel layouts and control systems
High-level of proficiency in design and calculation software (Solidworks, EPDM, PDMWorkgroup, etc.)
CSWA, CSWP, or CSWE preferred
Mechanical systems design and documentation; sheet metal and structural steel
Experience with FEA and establishing testing of products for reliable and safety
Advanced skills with the MS Office suite, including: Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Most possess strong project management, analytical and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
